Chinatown Newcomer Elementary Student Tutorial (NEST)

NEST After School Program and Summer Program provides bilingual education and multi-cultural enrichment. We offer a well-rounded curriculum, including: homework and academic support, language arts, math, science, art, health & nutrition, computer classes, intergenerational activities, relationship building and enrichment activities. We stress the total development of every student: moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical. We offer several different learning styles to meet the needs of all of our students. Our staff works closely with students, parents, and teachers to provide additional help and reinforce academic skills.

Aftercare runs from August to May, Monday-Friday. We follow the SF Public School calendar. Summer camp runs for 8 weeks during the months of June and July.

During the 2012-2013 school year, we will be hosting our aftercare program at Gordon J. Lau school for Kindergarten students. We will be operating between the hours of 2:45-5:45. Students will be provided with homework help, monthly themes, computer classes, yoga, art, and health and fitness.
