Join YWCA San Francisco & Marin at the California Historical Society on June 13 for a discussion of gentrification, displacement, community and art in San Francisco. Come hear presentations from Laura, our Director of Social Change, the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project, as well as local artists affected by displacement. The Anti-Eviction Mapping Project works to document across many media the dispossession of long-time Bay Area residents; Carlos Gonzalez is a muralist and artist born and raised in San Francisco who seeks to give back to the community with his art.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be held Wednesday, June 13, at 6pm at the California Historical Society, 678 Mission St. Register here.
