DONATIONS Your contributions are needed. The YWCA relies upon gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations. Outlined below are some of the ways you can make a tax-deductible contribution. You may direct your contribution to the program or service that is most important to you, or as a general support gift - to be used where the need is greatest. Donations may be made in person or by mail to: YWCA San Francisco and Marin 620 Sutter Street, 7th Floor San Francisco, CA 94102. Please include your name and address so that we may send you a receipt and acknowledgement letter for tax purposes. Matching gifts: Many companies will match you or your spouse's gift to the YWCA. Check with your benefits office to find out how your gift to the YWCA can have even more impact. In-kind gifts: You or your company can also donate goods and services. Look around your house, neighborhood and place of business. We are always in need of: Gift Certificates for YW program participants, including food, clothing and other essentials items Tickets (movies, sporting events) for YW program participants Technology: computers, modems, software, audio/visual for program offices Volunteer Services:graphic design, events planning, photography, media consultation, archivists to preserve YWCA history Volunteer Instruction Services: tutoring, dance instruction, swimming lessons, wellness programs (nutrition, yoga, etc.), event planning, computer training, sports training, etc. Gifts in Memory or in Honor of a Loved One: A gift to the YWCA in honor or memory of a special person will help us empower women and girls while giving you a unique opportunity to commemorate a birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday, retirement, graduation, or the loss of a loved one.
