Currently, our primary focus is on providing preventative and intervention services to youth, especially those "at-risk" in San Francisco and Marin. In addition, the YWCA serves as a resource referral center for women and girls. The YWCA also participates in public policy dialogues to benefit women and their families from all economic and racial/ethnic backgrounds, in particular advocating for the most vulnerable members of our society such as recent immigrants, racial and ethnic minorities, low-income seniors, and young people "at-risk". Collaborating with communities surrounding our service areas is a priority to achieve the enhancement of existing services and the development of new services to serve those in need.
