CHINATOWN YOUTH PROGRAMS

Our Chinatown Youth Programs offer children ages 6 to 11 in the surrounding community several programs aimed at bi-lingual academic development and multi-cultural enrichment.

Our Newcomer Elementary Student Tutorial Program (NEST) provides newcomer elementary school children in San Francisco's Chinatown neighborhood a balanced bi-lingual after-school curriculum featuring academic and homework assistance, English tutoring, physical exercise and broad exposure to mainstream community cultures.

Other programs and services provided include our summer public speaking workshops, computer lab, bi-lingual academic development, multi-cultural enrichment, intergenerational activities, and field trips.

For program schedules, or for more information, call (415) 788-5437, or e-mail cyp@ywcasf-marin.org.
