Since 1954, the YWCA Marin Center has focused on providing much-needed
employment and career programs to under-served women, girls and
families in Marin County. Collaborations include: School to Career,
Marin Independent Living Skills Program, the Work Force Investment
Act, Youth Council Partnership, and the Marin County Mentorship Coalition (which Marin founded).
Our Marin Center offers comprehensive employment, legal clinic, information and referral and career services for individuals in the community; mentorship and mentorship training; employment, educational and independent living skills support; job-specific search technique training; Job search assistance for low-income job seekers over the age of fifty; well-researched/up-to-date health, housing and crisis services; and myriad volunteer opportunities.
